DATE: Regency Period, c.1810

A superb Regency Period locket pendant with a fine filigree and cannetille goldwork border, as well as six turquoise-set Forget Me Not flowers. The central locket compartment is home to hairwork, embellished with tiny pearls that make up the initials JA and LG. A second locket compartment and brooch fittings are present on the back. An incredibly intricate design that's obviously been treasured over the last 200 years to survive in such good condition.
